British Columbians left on their own to negotiate ICBC’s Enhanced Care

Is ICBC’s Enhanced Care plan easy to understand and user friendly?

On May 10, 2021, a North Vancouver man was injured after being struck by an impaired driver’s vehicle.  He had been walking along a sidewalk at the time.  In a recent interview, he compared his experience of navigating the new Enhanced Care plan to a “full time job”.

Since May 1, 2021, the majority of British Columbians have lost their right to pursue at fault drivers for injuries and losses sustained in car accidents.  Due to the change to an Enhanced Care model of insurance, options for legal support are now limited and most injured parties are left to fend for themselves.  AABA-Auto Accident Benefits Assistance is here to help.
If you are involved in a motor vehicle accident in British Columbia, it is important that you determine what category(ies) of care and benefits you are entitled to under Enhanced Care coverage.  The amount of treatment and benefits due to you under the new legislation must also be calculated.  Finally, you must deal with ICBC directly to access your Enhanced Care treatment and benefits on an ongoing basis.  This includes gathering all necessary information and documentation to support these claims.  All of this must be accomplished while you recover from often chronic and limiting injuries.
This is why AABA-Auto Accident Benefits Assistance was created.  AABA is a virtual law firm created to provide affordable services to all British Columbians injured in a crash who require assistance with obtaining care and recovery benefits from ICBC.
